On Saturday, we went to a friend's Gatsby-themed birthday party in downtown Sacramento. I happily went all-out with my flapper costume. I love the fashion of the 1920’s, but I could make nothing in my closet work. Then I found this amazing fringe dress from Evangeline's Costume Mansion, and it saved the day.
The night was filled with boozing, dancing and admiring the fashionable ladies and gents. Nothing quite beats a man with a bow tie and nice hat, but that's just my humble opinion.
Highlights of the night: Grey's Anatomy playing in the background, microwave pork rinds and the birthday boy being serenaded at Denny's...at 3 a.m.
